What is Grunge Magick?

Grunge Magick is what I have started calling my magickal practice and it feels quite right. I thought I'd explain here a little more of what I think grunge magick is.  The grunge movement of the 90s was characterized by unkempt clothing, edgy rock music, and a general attitude of being carefree. Music that heavily influenced the grunge scene were bands like: Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, and Alice in Chains. It was a time of freedom, self-expression, and music that didn't want to conform to the pop music agenda happening at the same time.  The way I see grunge magick being utilized is by practitioners who do what they want and don't seem to care how others view their practice....

Dreaming of Demons

I have not worked with demons yet in any real sense but I wanted to share my experience and the events that took place after having dreamt of a demon. I feel as though the concept of such an entity had been skewed to normal perception. This is not to argue that there aren't negative entities but my feelings toward what one would call a demon is only that of playing out a role that ultimately moves humanity toward its allotted destination. These entities have something to share and are quite knowledgeable. A few months ago I had two dreams worth remembering. The first was an image of Baphomet but instead of the right hand pointing up toward the sky...

Seraphic Magick: A Brief Introduction

Creating an outline for Seraphic Magick is something that I have been working on for a little over a year now after I had been given what felt like a shock of inspiration and the word Seraph had shown up numerous times in front of me. Putting together a style of magick is not unique to me and I do believe that everyone has their own brand of magick and their own style. Seraphic Magick can be practiced by anyone and to date has 12 principles. When I had originally published the principles of Seraphic Magick I only had 10, but through research and what felt like downloads of information while writing I came to believe that an additional principle...

The Occurrence of Occult Transformation

Without getting entirely too deep with this post as it could just as easily be turned into a book... which is an idea I have been toying with, it could be said that all religions or spiritual belief systems have a moment of transformation. From the adult baptism to the notion of a spiritual awakening, these moments take the individual and change them into another version of themselves.  How many times does such a transformation happen within a lifetime? My estimate is 10. Although some will experience less or more perhaps. What constitutes a transformation? I believe in the moment it is a total change in thought, action, social status, and even appearance. This can be quite startling for close...

The Spinning Top: The Importance of Normal Jobs in Magick

As of lately having dived deeper into my study of magick, I have quickly come to find why so many magicians find it important to have a normal job, one that is rooted in the every day world. With so much of the foundation of magick solely psychological it can be easy to step onto the path and wander off into parts unknown. This of course makes it easy to become lost in a foreign landscape, even one that is housed within ourselves.  I may not be the person to articulate this concept in its entirety as currently I don't have a steady paid position and find my income only in writing and tarot readings. This is something I am...
