You are Still Worthy.

The cycles of mental illness can leave us feeling less than perfect. It can have us feeling like we don’t measure up to the standard that has been set for us. Everyone else seems to be so… normal and able to cope with life so well.

You already know the cliche “nothing is perfect” so you don’t have to be either. But that doesn’t take away the feeling of inadequacy. Here’s a secret… I don’t have the answers. Sorry if you were reading this and expecting something different. I woke up at a crisp 1 p.m in the afternoon today and began writing whilst sipping on a green tea. I’m the last person to have anything figured out.

But I also think it would be a lot better if we didn’t feel like we had to pretend to have it all together? And that’s the beautiful thing, we don’t. Those that love us are going to love us regardless and it’s going to feel a lot easier than trying to meet the requirements of normal living.

One of the biggest things to remember through it all is that you are still worthy even through the ups and downs, the twists and turns. You are human and none of us really know what we’re doing.

You are loved, you are worthy, you are blessed.
